The World of M.C. Escher
M. C. Escher was one of the greatest graphic artists of all time. He was famous for drawings that trick the eye into seeing something that isn't really there. People describe his work as very mathematical. Today's challenge is to click on the link to the right and go to Escher's web site. Once there find the gallery of his most famous work. Pick one that you like the most. Post a comment that is at least one paragraph long that describes the work and why you think it is beautiful.

i think the ascending and descending 1960 lithograph is cool becuase of the shadeing and the style...
the picture that i picked was the 1 of the symetrical bats because it looks creative & its not luike any other picture ive ever seen...its kinda cute to in a way!!
I pick this graffic because it is diffrent. And colorful sorry 2 say but I dont see the mathamaticle in it. I see a life cicle of growth but the picture and the hole tecture of the picture Is bueatiful love it .

the pic that i like was the one that had to rows with the fishes nd the birds put togehter cuz u dnt see thng like that. they all fit in with out a space in between
I don't really like art but the gallery was kind of interesting because is really colorful
well all i got to say about his work would be that he can draw things that you cant even see like he will draw something and then when you look at it their will be something that he didnt even draw so thats pritty cool.
I think the Procession in Crypt picture was really interesting because of the shapes and the people in the back it was like they were in shadows...
i like this picture becuz its cool...to make and its seems hard to do...!!!
I was looking at the 1961 waterfall as i was looking IT LOOK LIKE THE GOING UP
i picked the Spher Spirals it is like a spher graph ,but it is a spiral i think buy using tha graph he was able to make tha spiral perfect
